I have a BIG announcement to make. As some, or most of you may know, I have been an ambassador for Pentax since September 2014. As of today I am ending my sponsorship deal with them. THEY approached ME over 2 years ago, and though I love their cameras and the 645Z, they are extremely disorganized, irresponsible and ungrateful as a company. I have been promoting the brand and cameras for 2 years and it took a year and 11 months before I got any feed back.
They simply would not answer my emails or calls. I had to buy lenses (that were supposed to be free according to my contract) because they were just not sending me what I needed. This is my job. I need tools to do my job, its not my hobby where I can wait 6 months for a lens.
They left me with 1 Lens for almost a year. When i did get things from them they were used, been around the block. I got a lens that had no case or hood. And another that only worked in manual mode. This is how they treat ambassadors? I've kept quiet for a long time as I do not like to trash anyone, or any company. Again, this is not an attack on the brand or cameras, but rather the company.
The marketing staff I dealt with in Denver has had so much turn over that some people over there did not even know I was sponsored. Its been constant struggles and headaches from day one.
I'm sorry to say good-bye but I have a job to do, and i'm literarily loosing money by being sponsored with them. Hopefully one day they will get their act together before they recruit people to promote their products.

Die oben zitierte Email zeigt einen Menschen im Zorn. Erwartungshaltungen gibt es immer von beiden Seiten. Nicht gerade Professionell dieses Mail. Das verbessert letztlich Nichts für ihn.
