Near the left border one can see Dhaulagiri I peak (8,167m, 7th highest peak in the world), and, under the cloud cover, Annapurna I (8,091m).
I'm back from an unforgetable trekking and climbing trip in Dolpo region, Nepal. I brought my K-1 mark II together with the D-FA 24-70. Weather sealing was not a luxury, not so much for rain or snow (only few snowflakes) but for all the dust carried by the frequent winds. The camera was outside of the bag all the time, without any issue. Otherwise I had 6 spare batteries (because of the severe cold, used only 3), a capture clip (sometimes jammed with dust), and a Samyang 12mm fisheye (seldom used except for astro work).
I have of course hundreds of RAW to process... To start here is a 360° stitched panorama from the top of Mukot Himal, a remote glaciated 6,087m-high peak between Dolpo and the Dhaulagiri range, that has been climbed only a handful of times before
