I was in Scotland this year for two weeks. It was a great time with only two rain days. So I am not sure if the rain is only a rumor by the scottish to keep other people out of their nice country?!
You are alos welcome for some travel recommendation for Germany. I guess there are quite a bit helper at pentaxians.de

Welcome to the forum! - I love Scotland so much. Have been there many time on my bike (motorcycle) some years ago. I love the highlands, the clouds on an almost always dramatic sky and the small and winding roads. And the old graveyards. Times have changed for me but I hope, once I'll come back to my promised land.
